The OptiX OSN 7500 is the next–generation
intelligent optical core switching (OCS) equipment and is developed by Huawei on the basis of the current situation and development trend of the metropolitan area network (MAN).The OptiX OSN 7500 is mainly used as a service scheduling node at the metropolitan backbone layer. That is, it functions as optical core switching equipment (OCS). As an intelligent optical transmission platform and core optical transmission system, the OptiX OSN 7500 is located at the metropolitan backbone layer to schedule and transmit services of different types.
